Listing rules
These rules apply to business listings, seller submissions, broker-managed listings, and supporting media submitted to the BuyABusiness Ltd marketplace operated by Thought Council.
Accurate information
Listings should describe the business, sector, location, asking price, trading summary, tenure, staffing, reason for sale, and financial highlights accurately. Do not include misleading figures, false authority, hidden material issues, or copied content you are not entitled to use.
Media and confidentiality
Photos, videos, and documents should be relevant to the business and uploaded only where you have permission to use them. Avoid exposing personal data, confidential details, customer information, or sensitive financial records unless specifically required and appropriate for the workflow.
Review before publication
Listings are subject to manual review. BUYABUSINESS LTD may request changes, reject, archive, withdraw, or hold listings where details are incomplete, unsuitable, suspicious, misleading, or inconsistent with marketplace standards.
Material changes
If important listing details change, the listing may need to return to review before the updated information is published or promoted.
